Locs We Love

These are the celebrity loc’d styles we’re stashing in our beauty look book:

Ava Duvernay, the director of the Oscar-nominated film “Selma,” stayed slaying on the red carpet this winter, while twisting her locs into an assortment of loose, free-flowing styles and cute updos.

Whoopi Goldberg has been wearing her locs for as long as we can remember—every week day on “The View” and recently during New York Fashion Week.

Nine-time Grammy nominee Ledisi has the coiled loc game on, well, lock.

BET.com’s B*Real portal called former “Cosby” kid Lisa Bonet “the poster child for locs.” And why not? The actress has been sporting long and luscious locs for two decades.

Author Toni Morrison’s regal salt-and-pepper locs rest atop her head like a crown.
