Six tips to nuture your spirit

Taking care of your spirit is just as important to your well-being as 30 minutes of aerobic activity three times a week and starting your day with a healthy breakfast. Consider these tips to revive your spirit:

Begin (and end) your day with 15 minutes of quiet time. Meditate or simply practice deep breathing.
Take a weekly walk through a park, botanical garden or nature preserve.
Volunteer.
Curl up with a good book.
Kick technology to the curb once a month. Work up to a technology-free day once a week.
Worship with others who share your belief system.
