The Black Health Matters Summit provides: patients, health advocates, health ministries, congregational health directors and health-interested adults with tools and resources in areas of disease state awareness, management and prevention needed to establish and strengthen community wellness.  The Black Health Matters Summit will educate on the importance of self-care to motivate attendees to take a learned and purposeful approach to living their healthiest life every day.   The theme of the Black Health Matters Summit is Know Your Options which will empower attendees to be proactive about their health, ask questions and access the best care possible.

is past president of the Association of Black Cardiologist. He is an interventional cardiologist with over 30 years’ experience in the private practice setting. He completed medical school and residency at the Mayo Clinic and completed cardiology training at the Cleveland Clinic.
