[News]
Stroke continues to be a major disease within black communities. African-American men between the ages of 35-54 years have 4x greater risk of stroke than any other race. Find out more about this disease and other neurological diseases affecting black people in our neurology page.

World AIDS day in December was a special opportunity to focus our attention on this issue. The theme this year was on leadership. A good leader must have the heart of a servant, being proactive and inclusive. This is needed at all levels in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Our upcoming HIV/AIDS page will address the role of leadership in the fight against HIV/AIDS, as well as present medical facts on this condition. Finally, we will address the issue of human rights and HIV/AIDS.
